Amazon enters Indian Market – its Junglee.com

The long wait is finally over. Amazon.com has finally arrived in Indian markets as Junglee.com but before you get all too excited by the news, the catch is its more of a comparison site unlike amazon.com.

The site compares rates and checks availability of books, gadgets and other items on various other Online/offline retailers. Some of the retailers include indiaplaza, snapdeal, Microsoft India store etc. You can not buy from junglee.com , but you would have offers from Amazon.com .

The first thing you would notice would be the clean interface that the website has unlike its parent company. Its also to be seen when the website would start offering checkout option too. Another factor that needs to be checked how it changes the game for the market leader Flipkart.com and other websites like LetsBuy.com. Till then enjoy the site as a price comparison tool.
