Do you remember the day when you were urged by most websites to Download Firefox 3. Actually we also did so, as that was Firefox download Day, in order to make Firefox the most downloaded software in a single day. Yes, the date was 17th June 2008, and The record has been set.

Its Official now that Firefox is the most downloaded software in a single day. Guinness World Records have confirmed that Firefox had most downloads in 24 hr time period.
The final Tally stood at 8,002,530 downloads on 17th of June. Congrats to everyone who downloaded Firefox and helped the community to achieve its goal.
