So this can be another reason to celebrate for Indian gadget lovers. With no need to unlock the phone when its officially launched, so half the hassles gone this would also spring another good initiative for vodafone as they have just slashed the STD rates in India to 1 rupee 30 paisa . So looks Vodafone is doing all the talking in Indian cellphone market.
They haven't released any official disclosure ablot the model and pricing of the phones but they are expected to be in the upper side of Rs 20,000 - Rs. 30,000 slab and are expected to launched around September 2008.
So just no need to go in for the unlocked phones and getting them imported just wait for a few months and you will get hands on a legitimate one.
