You all may have noticed that Google had recently Changed its favicon form Capital 'G' to small 'g'. We had notified you of the change in this post : Google Changes Favicon. Now Google has clarified on why it had changed its favicon in almost 8.5 years.
According to Google they had wished to make a different set of Icons taking into view the new gadgets like iPhone and like. This is their Official word:
Below is the complete set of icons that they have developed in the current form.
They had tried out over 300 combinations and they have shown us a few of them.Below is a snapshot of those.
They are working now also on the favicon and if anybody has an Idea they can share it with Google. So submit your ideas here : Submit your Favicon Design for Google.
