What does Flipkart/Flyte gain from this ?

Well, as has been Flipkart’s tradition over the years, making the consumers used to their services and then attempting to profit from the sales, this seems to be a good strategy for once as it would (and should) expose the indian buyers to the legal music, and in turn hope that they come and purchase the music later on.
