Second test India vs Australia

The second test India versus Australia has seen so much in these four days that it will be remembered for quite sometime. It all started with poor umpiring decisions which took the match away from India after RP Singh's and Harbhajan's fiery bowling. then a couple of bad decisions especially regarding Symonds dealt the final blow. Ozies posted a dominating total and then what came out was a very special hundred from VVS Laxman which set the foundation and ended with Sachin finally breaking the jinx of getting out in the nineties. It was his 38th century overall and with the help of Harbhajan's gutsy 63 India took a first innings lead too. So much of a drama in first three days . Next day reports came out about the possible racial abuse of Symonds by Harbhajan. This was a shocker and the matter is yet to be heard. I don't think that Bhajji would have made any such comments but who knows.
But the highlight of the match was the Umpiring standards and it does looks like that Bucknor is past his prime and should retire. he has been awful against INDIA and this match was no better. Second Innings of Aussies also saw a poor decision regarding Hussey and he went on to make a fifty.
So the debate still continues about the standards of umpiring and the use of technology in game but it all depends what the bosses at ICC think. Who knows....
